About Advance Authorisation Scheme (Service Details)
The Advance Authorisation Scheme is a duty exemption scheme under India’s Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) that allows exporters to import raw materials, inputs, components, consumables, and packing materials without payment of customs duty, provided the finished goods are exported.
This scheme is designed to reduce input costs, improve cash flow, and help Indian exporters remain competitive in international markets. Advance Authorisation can be obtained before exports or after exports, subject to fulfillment of export obligation.
